Whether
head injury or spinal cord injury, your injury may not be permanent.
At Trinity we give hope to adults requiring neurologic
rehabilitation.
Trinity offers an interdisciplinary team approach to patients with
moderate to severe brain injuries and neurological deficits. The
interdisciplinary team consists of occupational therapy, physical
therapy, respiratory therapy, social workers, physicians, registered dieticians, and nurses
specializing in neurological care. The team thoroughly evaluates the
patients from assessment to full recovery. The team is committed to
providing quality care to assist the patient in reaching their maximum
level of functioning and quality of life. Full potential is reached
through a coaching process combined with strengthening, retraining in
behavior, retraining functional skills and continuous communication
among patient and love ones.

Neurologic Rehabilitation Treatment
Program (NRTP)
The Neurologic
Rehabilitation Treatment Program (NRTP), which is up to 6 months in
duration, is designed for patients who are too medically complex or
demanding for a typical skilled nursing setting, but no longer warrant
hospital care.
The goal of this
intensive program is to allow patients to recuperate from their injury
and return home to lead a normal life.
For some patients who
may not progress in the program within the maximum 6 month time period
and returning home is not possible, the patient may remain in our
facility or we will assist in transitioning the patient to a facility
closer to home.
Trinity is very proud
of the incredible outcomes that so many of our NRTP patients have
experienced throughout the years, allowing them to return to a greater
quality of life.
